The Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Board of Directors and staff are pleased to announce the 1st Annual Dr Pepper Museum Birthday Bonanza, held on Saturday, May 13, 2017 from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM. The Museum turns 26 year old this year! Come celebrate with carnival-style games in the courtyard and in the Museum and enjoy a day of western fun for the whole family. Prizes, music, and contests! Birthday cupcakes and soft drinks will be served. The Museum will be open normal business hours with $2 admission for everyone ALL DAY.

Birthday Bonanza Event
In an effort to change things up and keep everyone out of the blistering Texas sun, we are no longer doing the Dog Days of Summer event. This year we begin a new (hopefully cooler) tradition of celebrating the Museum’s birthday with $2 admission all day and the same games and events you have grown to love between 10 AM and 2 PM.
As in previous years, visitors get an activity card and collect a prize when they visit each game station spread throughout the AMBC Building, the Courtyard, and the East Wing Building. Contests in the Courtyard are scheduled throughout the day with bigger prize packages available to the winners.
Birthday cupcakes and soft drinks are provided for free to visitors with their activity card while supplies last. A variety of fountain treats are also available for sale in Frosty’s Soda Shop.

$2 Admission at the Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute
The fun doesn’t end at 2 PM! Saddle up and come on down, because admission is $2 all day, even after the Birthday Bonanza event is over. We encourage Wacoans to take this opportunity to come see the new gift shop, soda fountain, and Emerson Holt – Ted Getterman Exhibit Gallery – a lot has changed since the last time you visited!
About the Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute
The Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute is located at 300 South 5th Street in downtown Waco. Currently the Museum is open Monday through Saturday from 10 AM until 5:30 PM. The last ticket to the galleries is sold at 4 PM. The Museum opens at 12 pm on Sundays. Visitors can stop by the soda fountain and gift shop until 5:30 PM; no admission required.
