This month’s Supporter Spotlight shines on Diana Guajardo, a proud Waco native whose dedication to education, community service, and preserving Dr Pepper history has made a lasting impact on our community. We are also excited to welcome Diana as the newest member of the Dr Pepper Museum’s Board of Directors, where her passion for Waco’s heritage and commitment to service will help support the Museum’s mission for years to come.

Diana has devoted 34 years to serving the students and families of Waco ISD. Throughout her career, she has worked as a teacher, instructional specialist, and, for the past 15 years, Assistant Principal. Her commitment to educational excellence and community leadership has helped shape generations of Waco students. Diana holds a bachelor’s degree from Texas A&M University and a master’s degree from Tarleton State University.
Her connection to Dr Pepper is both personal and meaningful. Diana’s father spent 42 years with the Dr Pepper Company, beginning his career in the historic building that now houses the Dr Pepper Museum. Inspired by that legacy, Diana has become an avid collector and passionate supporter of preserving the history of Waco’s hometown beverage.
When she’s not serving her school community, Diana enjoys exploring the hidden gems and unique heritage of small-town Texas. Her passion for local history, combined with her lifelong connection to Dr Pepper, makes her a valued supporter of the Museum and its mission.
We are grateful for Diana’s continued support and leadership as she steps into this new role.
