As 2024 comes to a close, the Dr Pepper Museum celebrates a year of impactful sponsorships and partnerships that have fueled our mission to educate, inspire, and entertain. From sponsoring educational programs to supporting new exhibits, our generous partners have been essential to everything we’ve accomplished. Here’s a look at some of the incredible support we received this year.
Sponsoring Field Trips for Young Learners
Whataburger’s commitment to community engagement extended to the Dr Pepper Museum this year as they generously sponsored field trips for local students. For many students, this was their first visit to a museum, and Whataburger’s support made it possible for them to enjoy hands-on learning at no cost. Jim L. Turner: Honoring Our Three Millionth Visitor with a Generous Donation
2024 marked a significant milestone as we welcomed our three-millionth visitor since the museum opened over 30 years ago. Jim L. Turner, a long-time supporter, Advisory Board Member, and former owner of Dr Pepper Bottling Co. of Texas, was honored as this visitor and recognized with a commemorative brick in the Museum’s courtyard. Beyond the celebration, Turner made a generous contribution, furthering his commitment to the Museum’s growth. Continue reading here to learn more about the celebration.
Grant Funding for Development
This year has been full of exciting growth for the Dr Pepper Museum. Thanks to grant funding, we launched our newest exhibit, From Blueprint to Bubbles: The Home of Dr Pepper / Del Plano a las Burbujas: El Hogar de Dr Pepper, renovated Wilton’s Landing, upgraded a collection space, and even refreshed our truck and float trailer. None of this would have been possible without the incredible support of our community. Thank you for helping us preserve and share Dr Pepper’s history!
Exhibit and other Museum Spaces
From Blueprint to Bubbles: The Home of Dr Pepper/ Del Plano a las Burbujas: El Hogar de Dr Pepper was made possible through the generous support of lead sponsors Keurig Dr Pepper and Walker Partners, with additional support provided by Humanities Texas, Texas Historical Foundation, RBDR, PLLC and BJ Greaves. Contributors to the exhibition content included Kenneth Hafertepe, Joyce Nelson Heckmann and Dr. Stephen Sloan.

Keurig Dr Pepper
Although we are an independently owned and operated museum, we are very grateful for the support we receive from Keurig Dr Pepper. They help us throughout the year with many projects, such as the one-year supply giveaway and matching our Challenge Grant donations up to $100,000.
This year, they have helped us renovate and sponsor the Liquid Lab space and support the Museum’s educational programs by sponsoring the Liquid Lab show. Click here to learn more about the new Keurig Dr Pepper Liquid Lab space.
Collections Renovation
As the Dr Pepper Museum continues to expand, so does our collection. This year, we undertook an extensive renovation of one of our exhibit spaces, a project that has exceeded $1 million to date. Such an accomplishment wouldn’t have been possible without the incredible support of our generous sponsors.
We extend our heartfelt thanks to:
