On October 24th, also famously known as 10-2-4 Day, the Dr Pepper Museum celebrated a landmark achievement of welcoming more than 3 million visitors with Jim L. Turner honored as its three-millionth guest. Jim, a life-time Museum supporter, Advisory Board Member, former owner of Dr Pepper Bottling Co. of Texas, and current owner of Jim Turner Chevrolet, was recognized with a commemorative brick placement in the Museum’s courtyard. The Dr Pepper Museum, alongside the Waco Business community, celebrated this milestone, highlighting the Museum’s enduring impact and connection to Waco.
The event included an official “Dr Pepper Museum Day” declaration by Major Jim Holmes and Judge Scott Felton. This recognition reflects the Museum’s significance in Waco and its dedication to preserving the legacy of Dr Pepper, the soft drink industry, and the local community.
