This year marked another successful and meaningful Lemonade Day at the Dr Pepper Museum. In partnership with the Cen-Tex African American Chamber of Commerce’s Young CEOs initiative, Lemonade Day provides young entrepreneurs with a valuable introduction to business fundamentals in an engaging, hands-on environment. Participants learn about key concepts of business, such as branding and marketing, and goal-setting.
With additional support from Bud’s Lemonade, students also had the opportunity to create their own lemonade, applying what they learned in a practical and rewarding way. Not only will these skills help them succeed come judging day on May 19, but will serve them well far beyond the lemonade stand.
The Dr Pepper Museum is home to the W.W. Clements Free Enterprise Institute. The Institute was created in 1997 for the purpose of educating school children as well as adults about the economic system that underlies American life, values that continue to guide our programming today. The Dr Pepper Museum is proud to support initiatives that empower young leaders, foster innovation, and invest in the future of our community.
