The Dr Pepper Museum and Whataburger are proud to announce their partnership for a second consecutive year, continuing their shared commitment to enriching educational opportunities for Waco ISD students. Through this collaboration, students are given a Dr Pepper Museum’s field trip, with addition of the Make-A-Soda program, an engaging, hands-on experience designed to spark creativity and introduce the fundamentals of business development.
As part of Whataburger’s Feeding Student Success initiative, the sponsorship supports expanded access to meaningful, curriculum-enhancing experiences that bridge classroom learning with real-world application.
“Whataburger’s Feeding Student Success initiative is dedicated to fueling brighter futures by providing students with the resources and support they need to thrive,” said Whataburger representative Chad Klempnauer. “Through our sponsorship with the Dr Pepper Museum’s school tour program, we’re creating meaningful, hands-on opportunities for Waco ISD students. Together, we’re empowering students to explore, learn, and grow far beyond the classroom.”
During the Make-A-Soda program, students develop their own soda recipes and label designs. Students are encouraged to be innovative by brainstorming from the syrup ratio of their sodas to designing their own bottle label for their final products.
The Dr Pepper Museum and Whataburger remain committed to advancing educational programming that supports student success and community engagement. Together, the partnership is creating learning experiences that encourage students to think creatively, explore new ideas, and build confidence in their ability to innovate.
