What’s more romantic than old buildings, handmade drinks, and vintage Dr Pepper? If you’re looking for a Valentine’s Day date that’s out of the ordinary, this is the perfect opportunity to visit the Dr Pepper Museum.
On Saturday, February 14th, when you buy an admission ticket to the Museum you can get one half off for your sweetheart. We encourage couples who visit on Saturday to check in and post photos of themselves on their date!
In the soda fountain, when you buy one Big Red Float you can get another one half off for your sweetie. Big Red Floats are also known as Pink Cows because of their festive pink color and the addition of delicious vanilla ice cream.
Romantic photo opportunities include the neon sign and vintage painted sign in the courtyard, the Dr Pepper delivery truck, the logo on the dock, and of course the soda fountain. The Dr Pepper Museum and Free Enterprise Institute is located at 300 South 5thStreet in downtown Waco. Currently the Museum is open Tuesday through Saturday from 10 am until 4:15 when the last ticket to the gallery is sold. The Museum opens at 12 pm on Sundays, and is closed on Mondays through the end of February. Visitors can stop by the soda fountain and gift shop until 5 pm; no admission ticket required.
