The Dr Pepper Museum was founded in 1988 to educate and entertain the general public through the collection, preservation, interpretation, and exhibition of objects relevant to the history of the soft drink industry, and through that example, the free enterprise economic system.

From an abandoned building, the Dr Pepper Museum has become a vibrant cultural resource and one of the cornerstones in downtown Waco. The Museum provides a unique entertainment experience for over 60,000 visitors from across the nation and around the world every year, and the Free Enterprise Institute is an important educational resource for families and schools in the central Texas region.

Admission fees along with soda fountain sales and gift shop sales are important sources of funding, but these revenues alone cannot fully support the work of the Museum and Free Enterprise Institute. We need annual financial gifts from friends of the Museum.

Will you help us individually or through your business as a Pepper Partner? You can help the Dr Pepper Museum continue to be a trailblazer. Every penny of your contribution will be used to help the Dr Pepper Museum continue to fulfill its mission.

Pepper Partners will be recognized in the Annual Report of the Museum and will receive small tokens of appreciation. Complimentary admission passes will be available for higher levels of giving.

Thank you so much for your support. To make a contribution and become a Pepper Partner, please fill out the form below:

Donation Total: $1,000

The Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute receives many requests for donations every year, and seeks to give back to the Waco and Central Texas community whenever possible. Our standard donation is a hardcover Dr Pepper history book and a Family Four Pack of passes (two adult and two child) to the Museum, which is a $57 value. Please submit your donation request at least one week prior to the date you will need it to allow time for staff to coordinate pick up. Donations above and beyond the standard value are considered on a case-by-case basis and require at least two weeks to process.

Because the DPMFEI is an independent nonprofit and is not owned or operated by the Dr Pepper Snapple Group, donations of product or items from the Gift Shop are not possible. For more information about product donations, please contact the Waco Dr Pepper Snapple Group distribution plant at 254-412-1900 or your local Dr Pepper bottler.

We require a letter with specific information about the donation you are requesting on your organization’s letterhead for our files. Please attach your letter below.

We are excited to hear about your soft drink collectibles! The Museum has a wide variety of soft drink-related items, including many bottles, crates and original signs. The Museum does not have a dedicated purchasing budget and relies mainly on donations. We would be happy to discuss the donation process further if you are interested in donating objects to the Museum. If you are interested in finding out more information about your objects, we would be happy to assist you. Please note that although we can provide information on many items, we cannot provide authentications or values for objects.
  • As a nonprofit organization, the Dr Pepper Museum & Free Enterprise Institute does not currently purchase objects or collections of objects, and is not able to assign value to objects. Currently the Museum is only accepting unconditional donations.
